Rosh Hashanah means "head of the
year" and is referred to in the Book of Leviticus 23:24-25 as "a
sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts". A shofar, an ancient
musical horn, is still blown during services at the synagogue.
24 Speak
to B’nei Yisrael thus: In the seventh month, on the first day of the
month, you shall observe complete rest, a sacred occasion commemorated with
loud blasts.

my ‘Gentiles sisters and brothers’ understand why the ‘Jew’ is called ‘Gods
chosen people?
Not only will/should you be friends with
your brothers and sisters (Jew), you might even be thankful for their being
Gods Chosen People?
