(Jesus Christ Superstar)

I have never seen this film, until now.
I was busy raising a family.
Not a film for the kiddies.

I did hear the song many times and wanted to see any of the films.

We taped these latest two for me to watch at a later date.

She said NO! in her woman’s voice!
She was wise and right!

Every year as far back as I can remember, Christian Holidays have Christian movies.

Each movie has a beginning, a middle and an end.

Not these two films.

The end of each of these films ended thousands of years too early!

In real life, Jesus came back to his friends and will come again.

The song smelled and the cast were clumsy at best!

There was no beginning?

I am extremely disappointed.

I guess, if you want a Christian film you must use a Christian cast from top to bottom?

Andrew Lloyd Webber is an Atheist at best!

Nothing wrong with that, only not a place for a film like this!

Jesus Christ Superstar (1973)

Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar opened October 12,1971 on Broadway.

NBC's too early Easter Sunday presentation of "Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert" put up big numbers for a spring primetime broadcast, but when the dust clears, the network's staging of the 1971 Broadway sensation will prove to be its lowest-rated musical yet.
