ceiling with an all-female command staff.

state,
the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
Pilot April Vogel is
the assistant adjutant general for air

Janeen Birckhead is the assistant
adjutant general for army.
She was promoted in
June.
Women are in the
running to become
‘Governors of States, Federal and State Senators
and
the
House of Representatives’!
The Maryland
National Guard traces its roots to 25 March 1634, when two militia captains
were amongst 150-odd colonists who disembarked in the new world to form the
first European settlement in what would become Maryland.
In many ‘Native
American Country’, Traditional Tribes have women in their royal circle.
