Not all of the slaves in this country were from Africa.
The United States was not the only country to use people for slavery.
Besides African and Native American's, slavery trade came from all parts of the world.

Ayuba Suleiman Diallo an educated man from a family of Muslim clerics in
West Africa was taken into slavery and sent to work on a plantation in America. After some planning and a lot of luck, he ended up in London England and with help became a free man.
