Horses are a non-native species

History of America's Wild Horses

A Native horse to New England and the rest of North America died between 13,000 to 11,000 years ago and it is believed that they came across from Asia with the Woolley Mammoth (mastodon).

The horses now in this area are imported from other country or from out west.

Wild horses are a non-native species

They are, however, a non-native species in all of North America.

My people, the original and only true Mohegan tribe ( there is one and only one traditional tribe), traveled on foot and did this traveling from Canada to Delaware and from the ocean to the Mississippi river.
