Another good question and simple answer, thank you for that however, it would have helped to know what the smudging was for?

My first reaction to the question would be, the results!

If, for instance, you were in need to remove bad spirits, the bad spirits will have left, if the smudging was a circle to prepare a purification to have Creator come visit a gathering, Creator will be with the gathering?
