Native Americans views of dying

Owensboro Kentucky

AQUINE (Peace to you)

Welcome to the visitor to my teaching blog posting looking for answers to their questions about

Native Americans religious and cultural views of dying

Because your request comes from Kentucky you should check with the nearest tribe in your area however, my people treat life and death with tremendous respect.

In life we are treated as one family with our ups and downs always with love.

In death, we feel the sorrow of a lost love one however, knowing that this loved one goes to a much better place, this is one of the reasons why our funeral takes so long and why some of it is sacred only to be view by family and extremely close friends.

Hope that this answer helps you with your quest for a traditional native answer?

I am pleased to be able to teach as much as possible about my traditional ancestors.

As you may or may not see while traveling around the internet, some teaching about our people will not compute with what the elders taught as the truth.

Many times often taught by non native people or not from our tribe!
