Why teach native tradition and culture

Welcome to the visitor to my teaching blog posting looking for the answer to a question as to why teach native tradition and culture?

The first reason would be to allow our young people the knowledge of our past and our ancestors, next would be to teach them a better way to live other then the destruction being taught from today's society, we teach on the internet because others may wish to look over our teaching also.

Before first contact it is true that there were wars however, those wars had many rules in native country that all tribes followed.

WE are pleased to be able to teach as much as possible about our traditional ancestors.

As you may or may not see while traveling around the internet, some teaching about our people will not compute with what the elders taught as the truth.

Many times often being taught by non native people or someone not from our tribe!
