NY Mohawk: Move toxic GM dump from tribal lands

It's a tie!

Now General motor's is tied with Ford motor company for Toxic landfills on or near a Native American Reservation.

The Mohawk Indians Akwesasne Reservation has a toxic landfill about 30 feet away toward the St. Lawrence River and south to the Mohawk River.

Upstream is a General Motors factory, now a federal Superfund site where tons of toxic waste have been removed. Tons more remain.

Made in America?
