Matriarch's are females in the tribe

Welcome to my southern neighbor down in Miami looking for information about the Matriarch, remember although we (south and central Florida) are theoretically on the east coast, I am not sure that the woodland indigenous people from the New England area came this far down?

Although one would think so because they could have follow inland waters all the way, my knowledge is of my people.
