Although I agree that
we have many hero's in this country, Martin Luther King comes to mind, every
military, fire and police person are all hero's so let this be about three for
now?
Two of the men that I
most admire because of the way they walked on this planet, both were brutally
abused and murdered for doing nothing more than show we the human race how we
should be living our time on earth.
One was hung! However,
this was preordained. The other was shot in the face because he walked away
from the normal political system!
The first one’s family
(Humans) will end up doing what his father wishes them to do, like it or not!
The second one’s family
(India-Pakistan) has forgotten him and his way of life, they now blame him for
their problems, shame on them for this!
All that Mohandas
Karamchand Gandhi wanted them to do was to get along with each other both
Muslims and Hindu's.
The memory of Mahatma
Gandhi today, in India is reduced to rituals. His ideals are forgotten and much
of what he stood for is remembered only in parts and misunderstood.
Many young people today
blame him for the "Dry Day"!
"You must be the
Change you wish to see in the World" www.fatherofnation.in/
The International Day
of Non-Violence is observed on 2 October, the birthday of Mohandas Karamchand
Gandhi.
This day is referred to
in India as Gandhi Jayanti.
In an age when our
bureaucrats cannot stand up for their beliefs and crawl when asked to bend, it
is difficult to think of one man - Father of Nation "Mahatma Gandhi"
One more hero that
needs a mention at this time, the one that was hunted all around North and
South America as if he was a Ferocious Animal, guilty because they said so, thrown
into a cage for life.
However, remember that
all were innocent, one is still alive!
