Fire keeper

A Fire-Keeper in our
tribe is someone trained in the teaching of our ancestors by one of the elders.
The Head Clan Mother
or the Head Veteran usually chooses him/her.
The Fire-Keeper,
Head Veteran and the Head Clan Mother then makes ready the 'Sacred Circle' in
preparation for the visit by Kiehtan (Creator).
