I
want to write this without
the fear of hurting your feelings.
(Actually
I want to shout
it from the top of
every mountain).
How
many citizens of the United States of America
can still remember the
words to this Lyrics?
The
basic meaning
to this poem is
“O
thus be it ever,
when
freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes
Between their loved homes
and
the
war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry
Blest with vict'ry
and
peace,
may the
Heav'n
rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made
and
preserved
us a nation!
Then conquer we must,
Then conquer we must,
when our cause it is
just,
And
And
this be our motto:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph
shall wave
O'er the land of the free
O'er the land of the free
and
the
home of the brave!”
We
stand between our home and the war!
We
kneel
to give thanks
to the one
that saves
our Nation!
IN
GOD WE TRUST!
