Ask a Matriarch Tribal (Clan) Mother.

Some times what you call a weed Traditional Native Americans call food or Medicine.
Don't pull the weeds, put them in the salad
As a Traditional Native Spiritual Leader I would like to correct something at the top of this great subject.
DO NOT put an unknown weed into your salad or any place else until you first make sure that it is safe.
While it is true that most Traditional’s know which is safe, which taste good, which taste bad, but good for you and which is bad.
If you are looking for the best person to help you please remember to go to a Matriarch Tribal Group of people and ask for the Head Clan Mother.

Hindu beliefs in Native America?

No disrespect to the Hinduism religion, nor to its people around the world.
If you are wondering why I am placing this on my Sachem Speaks blog?
I am a Simi retired spiritual teacher.
I travel around Indian country, I will not travel unless it is possible to take my two girls along and make it into a mini vacation. Both are the love of my life, one is the person that I live with, the other is my Airedale, therein lies the rub, finding a descent place for them
while I am teaching.

Pets welcome, NOT!
However, why did the teaching of one of the greatest men to ever live not make it to the United States of America?

I have been studying Mahatma Gandhi's love teaching for years.

According to various information about Hinduism there is no distinction between human beings and other life forms.

All life forms, including plants and animals are manifestations of God. There are no exceptions.

Compassion is most important for happiness. We must treat fellow human beings as equal, that is very important, but also all beings who have capacity for feeling. So the innate desire for happiness that is the basis of human rights extends to all sentient beings, including animals. His Holiness The Dalai Lama

Mahatma Gandhi often would hold up talks with any countries dignitaries to feed or tend to his goats, or any animal for that matter. Some of Mahatma Gandhi's religion Hinduism never made it to the United States of America!

Hotels, Motels, Inns and suites run by people from India do not allow pets, if they must allow pets they do whatever it takes to make the stay as uncomfortable as possible.

If you are wondering why I am placing this on my Sachem Speaks blog? Because I am a Simi retired spiritual teacher.

Pets welcome, NOT!

Unlike a few years ago, the managers of almost all hotels, motels and Inns do not want pets, if they must allow pets, they make it so uncomfortable on you, that you never want to return so we never will!

Life is better shared with a friend.

Indians and Somalis in Minneapolis find common ground
Found on this Blog, SomaliCare
Each and every day that I find a race of people joining together in friendship with Native Americans, I pray to thank Creator for eyes to see and ears to hear.
A committee calling themselves the Native American Somali Friendship Committee (NAFSC), ambassadors from both communities meet monthly to try to find common ground.

Not all of the slaves were from Africa.

Did you know?
Not all of the slaves in this country were from Africa.
The United States was not the only country to use people for slavery.
Besides African and Native American's, slavery trade came from all parts of the world.
African and Caribbean Events
Ayuba Suleiman Diallo an educated man from a family of Muslim clerics in
West Africa was taken into slavery and sent to work on a plantation in America. After some planning and a lot of luck, he ended up in London England and with help became a free man.
