Program aids Native Americans.

This is NOT Just a one Reservation Problem!

This disturbing story barely touches the reality that is everyday

life on many Reservations in the United States.

As the woman said, people have better shacks for their lawnmowers

than these people live in.

One needs only travel to anywhere, to any state, in America and

spend a few minutes on a Indian (Native American) Reservation to understand that these same conditions are everywhere in Indian Country.

An example is the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, one of the most impoverished places in America, where many Elders have no indoor plumbing, some even have no windows, many do not have enough warm clothes, and this is an area with 60 degree below zero winters.

It is difficult to see so many Hollywood stars traveling all over the world to bring awareness to the plights of other people, when the conditions on many Reservations in this Country are just as bad, if not worse.

When will those who have everything in this country, even acknowledge that many of the First People of this land are in trouble and need their help just as much as those thousands of miles away most of which we can never help because their government do not want our help?

What is that old saying?

Charity begins at Home!

A question from Stockton California.

Departing ceremonies native American?

If the person is asking about a ceremony in my tribe when someone is departing on a trip from the tribe, we have no ceremony and we have no word for goodbye.

Going on that trip would be Aquine (Peace) because everyone is welcome to return.

If the person is looking for ceremonies like our funerals.

Why a naming ceremony at a sweat is significant?

Can a naming and a sweat ceremony be held at the same time?

Why a naming ceremony at a sweat is significant?

A question found on my tracker.

I am not sure but I believe that my answer will fit into all of the Native people in Indian country when I say that this appears to be a twofold question?

Unless they are asking if a sacred name can be used at a sweat lodge ceremony?

Yes a sacred name can be used at many ceremonies.

Is a naming and a sweat ceremony held at the same time?

Then my answer must apply only to what I know about my people, it is up to the family, Spiritual leader and Creator!

Our sacred prayers at ceremonies.

The only question asked as often as a question about
Native American tobacco
on my tracker
is a question about
our sacred prayers at ceremonies!
Questions like.
(1)- What way is the peace pipe passed traditionally?
(2)- What prayer is at a Native American Funeral?
(3)- What is the naming ceremony prayer?
(4)- Native American wedding prayers?
(5)- How to do a traditional smudge?
(6)- How to build a sweat lodge?
And so on!
It does my heart good to see that the true Native Americans have totally ignored these questions!
Non-natives and wannabe medicine people want to learn about our prayers to take advantage of unsuspecting victims and get into their pockets!
Remember the European type Guru?
Also
Remember, a true Traditions Native American
will never charge for the services!
I say to these phony non-natives.
Why not leave us alone and go into politics?
You can lie, steal and cheat many more people
And
Make a lot more money while you are at it?
I must take back my compliment
about Native Americans
Not responding to requests
for sacred knowledge
about our sacred ceremonies!
While going through my blog tracker,
there was two newspaper websites
about a tribe in New England
that gave a present to the Queen of England
because she returned a long lost Shechaim’s bones to them,
this
" (spiritual leader)"????
this is what he called himself a spiritual leader,
received a peace pipe refilled it with some tobacco,
So it must have been awakened at some point it time?
This Shechaim, was shunned by those same modern government Indians!
He and some of his friends
smoked to what they called
"The four directions"?
After they finished this smoking
he gave his peace pipe,???
I guess still hot,???
to the queen?
When asked the question
he said,
"Yes it is now her pipe; she can have any ceremony that she, the queen, wants."???
(WHAT)?
However,
After reading both news reports one would find out that
the pipe is made from pipe stone,
A Plains Indian pipe.
The tobacco was chemical cigarette tobacco,
Also used by plains Indians.
His Costume was
part plains Indian
And
Part clown with turkey, feathers.???
There was no Keeper of the pipe!
He called the pipe a Peace pipe,???
As far back as I have been taught
 (76 years now),
New England Native Americans
had no peace pipe,
They had
Friendship pipes,
So in short,
This may not count for my blog.
However, tell me what do you think?

why politicians steal from social security?

why politicians steal from social security

On Sunday, July 24 2011 my Political blog once again made the statement, a very true statement, that politicians have been stealing our money from social security since 1935.

Everyone knows the fact that they have been stealing since the 1990's, I still believe that it has been even longer!

However, this question today is WHY?

There are many reasons why however, the biggest, in my opinion is Greediness!

Politicians want a Pork/Turkey project for their own state.

The senate and/or congress has no money for this pork/turkey project so, politicians make an agreement to help themselves to our social security, after all social security is healthy, what will a little stealing here and there do?
