Coopers Hawk
Native American Coopers Hawk
Welcome to
Los Angeles California
Looking for my information about
Native American coopers hawk
A Native American Traditional Teaching Blog, Birds.
Hawks, is a name used to show most birds of prey,
birds like the Coopers Hawk, also helped to keep the snake population down, non
poison snakes like the water snake and garden snakes would eat the poison
snakes and hawks like the Coopers Hawk would eat both.
The Traditional Eastern Woodland American Natives
Ancestors around the New England area believed that ALL bird of Prey are our
spiritual messengers and send from Creator for our protection.
Today my culture and my beliefs are taxing because we
have a number of Cooper families living around the property and respecting them
while keeping them from eating all of our other birds is a daily challenge.
Florida has another bird of prey that is helping keep
the cooper families at bay.
The American Swallow-tailed Kite, they are bigger,
meaner and faster than the Cooper Hawk.
