Lunch Atop A Skyscraper, the famous 1932 photograph by
Charlies C Ebbets. By Kernan Andrews
The Galway Advertiser reports that two of the men have
been identified as Galway natives.
If I were a gambler I would bet
that the rest of the 11 (9) are Mohawk!
Some of my
ancestors may be among the beam sitters!
I love
saying that because it unsets my Mohawk friends to think that a Mohegan (Mohican)
could be related to their family. LOL
Every single
time that I stop by the reservation someone feels the need to show me the spot
were, they say, was the only battle my people won with the Mohawk, I
just remind them that I have Mohawk blood! LOL
P,S.
Got Irish blood also! LOL
