Welcome Lusby,
Maryland
To two of our
posting about our Four Corners Ceremony
Native American
prayer to the four corners
2/21/12
THE FOUR SACRED
CORNERS
(Shehukte Kina Konacya)
7/4/11
First
I have been told
more than once that our people (ancestors)
did travel, as far south as Delaware,
so Maryland is not out of the question.
did travel, as far south as Delaware,
so Maryland is not out of the question.
Also
We have been to
gatherings in and around your state and enjoyer the visits.
In our culture (the
Moiigan people),
any time we talk, write, about anything other than a circle,
we are talking about people.
any time we talk, write, about anything other than a circle,
we are talking about people.
And
If we are also
talking, writing, about our
"Sacred Circles,"
we are talking about
our Clan Mothers
as the 'Main-stay' of the ceremony.
Four Corners, East,
South, North, West
And back to the East.
And back to the East.
So, in this case,
the Head Clan Mother
along with
her clan mothers
of this ceremony.
Now to your 2nd
question
Native American
prayer to the four corners
2/21/12
This involves the
actual ceremony,
Adoption, Naming, Wedding and so on.
Prayer to the four
corners is actually a stop at the four chosen clan mothers,
by the Head Clan
Mother and approved by the Shechaim,
asking questions and requesting permission
to travel to the next corner.
