Torah/Bible/An Eye
for an Eye
Why would God have
Moses write such a thing?
Could it have been
the time it was written in
and
to the people it was written too?
(The decision of State Attorney Aramis Ayala).
Please think
And
Then re-Read our
(Good Book)
Again.
(Good Book)
Again.
I would like to
thank the author
of our
'Good Book'
(God the Creator of
All).
So
Kill the
Killer
or
Make the
Killer think about the Dastardly Deed?
Why would a God have
Moses
write these three statements?
Exodus 21:24
Leviticus 24:20
Deuteronomy 19:21
And
Then we have
Matthew
5:37-39
Hebrew(Jew), Christians and
non believers,
what does your
'Good Book'
say about
'Killing' one another
and
why would your god write such a thing?
First
I would like to
thank the author of your 'Good Book'
(God the Creator of All).
Second
In reality,
what or
should I say
who is this
'Word of God'?
Leviticus 24:20
…23
"But if
there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life,
24
eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, (25) burn for burn,
wound for wound, bruise for bruise.…
Deuteronomy 19:21
…20"
The rest
will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such an evil thing among you.
21"Thus you shall not show
pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Exodus 21:24
…19
'If a man injures
his neighbor, just as he has done, so it shall be done to him:
20
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has injured a man, so it shall be inflicted on him.
21
'Thus the one who
kills an animal shall make it good, but the one who kills a man shall be put to
death.…
Matthew 5:37-39
37
But let your
communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh
of evil.
38
Ye have heard that
it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39
But I say unto you,
That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.
Yes, allah is the god of love
A letter to the
editor of the Journal
"The death
penalty is not a case of justice but vengeance.”
Abolish
cruel punishment
I didn’t know
whether to laugh or cry when reading your March 22 editorial, “State
attorney abused her power,” on the decision of State Attorney Aramis Ayala
not to pursue the death penalty in capital cases. The statement “the state has
been among the leaders in executing prisoners on death row” is disgusting
(Visit Florida — the leader in executing prisoners!) Seriously? I have been at
a prayer vigil against the death penalty in Starke for every execution since
2009; we pray for victims of violence and for the accused. I have tried to look
at the death penalty from every angle; I have met with parents of a murdered
child who oppose the death penalty. I cannot find a reason for its continuance.
Every industrialized democracy has abolished the death penalty except the
United States. We are among the top five countries in the world in executions,
with China, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

What I have learned
is that preventing killing people by killing people makes no sense. The
examples you present don't override the fact that here in Florida 26 men have
been exonerated off death row vs. the 92 who have been executed. Many times it
takes decades to carry out an execution. So people argue for ways to accelerate
the killing process, which in Florida would gave resulted in the deaths of
legally innocent men. Plus the cost of over $50 million yearly to pursue the
death penalty for the accused.
