Today everyone is a Native American?

(Sukoro Caru)~My heart is light this morning, Creator is so good!

This morning while going through my tracker questions, people are checking in and asking about the abuse from the Ford Motor Company on my cousins in New Jersey at that beautiful park, it use to be beautiful!

Historic Ringwood State Park and the Ramapough Tribe!

Time is extremely short please sign this petition, help save this park.

Tell our elected officials and the United States Environmental Protection Agency that enough is enough!

Do not give a man a fish!

Have you ever heard the old proverb, " Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day."

" Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Lately people have been emailing me to tell me to sign a petition to some politician or our president to help the poor in some far off country, while my heart bleeds for these countries, my question always would be, " when are we going to help the poor in this country"?

Yes it is true that many have shipped, mailed or dropped off money, food, and goods going to reservations around the country, unfortunately like with those far off countries, the well to do tribal committee takes what it wants from the goods sent, then holds a yard sale with the rest, the elders and the poor natives see none of the goods.

We need to contact places close to each reservation like the salvation army, Habit for humanity, a church group, school groups, boy and girl scouts, that will receive all of the goods, go onto the reservations ( most if not all have a church group on or near by) this group can contact the elders and the tribal members and pass these goods out face to face.

The federal government has grants for natives on the reservations to work at this, like it was a salvation store.

Ford Motor Company dumped toxic waste!

Timing is critical please sign their petition today?

Fords favorite saying is Acceptable losses!

For 25 years, Ford Motor Company dumped toxic waste from a nearby factory into New Jersey's Ringwood State Park.

Members of the Ramapough tribe, very good friends of mine, who've lived on the land for generations, routinely fell ill from various poisons.

Their children suffered nosebleeds any time they played outside.

However, instead of working to clean up the area, the Environmental Protection Agency is actually considering giving the land back to Ford to use it as a toxic waste dump.

Don’t let the government give it away to a notorious polluter!

What would you be saying to the government if it were your backyard?

Tell our elected officials and the United States Environmental Protection Agency to require Ford Motor Company to clean up and restore this beloved jewel of the New Jersey State Park system, ensuring it remains as beautiful parkland.

What was the first thing the Native American said?

When asked a question like this one must always remember a statement drilled into my mind for years by one of my Traditional elders now ancestor.

"The only dumb question is the one thought to ask however, never asked".

So, my best answer would have to be, " If the first Native American was one of my ancestors, the answer was, Taw-but-ni"!

or

Thank you (Taw-but-ni) Creator for creating me.

Someone today also demanded that I remove my Owl background, hard on his/her eyes, I do not know if it was a male or female because they were so rude that they left no way to answer.

However, the Owl, our protector,  for my people is just as sacred as the Eagle, one of our messengers to and from Creator.

My blog my background, maybe I will work on the font size and color?

Gifting by an American Native to an American Native.

The Traditional Eastern Woodland Native American ( American Native) way of gifting is not all that complicated when you think about it.

If one is not sure of who, what, when, where or how to gift, side with caution.

Get some Kinnick, Kinnick (herbs) placed into a small red pouch, walk up to the person that you wish to gift and from your left hand to that persons left hand, give that gift.

Now, if you have another gift in mind other then the herbs, explain this other gift and make the offer at the time.

For your gift, the herbs can be ones found growing around where ever you happen to be at the time and have been the type that have grown for years, Google herbs in the area.

Or if you wish, just go out and buy some.

American Natives throughout the years have found the your heart is more to your left side then you're right, so the left hand is the closest to your heart, this gift therefore comes from your heart.

Who to gift, anyone that you wish to gift.

What to gift, after the herbs, anything that you own and wish to gift.

When to gift, sometime after you decide to gift and are around the person you wish to gift, if possible this person should be alone at the time of gifting.

Where to gift, anyplace that is convenient for both at the time of gift giving.

How to gift, always from your heart to that persons heart.

Remember, Traditional Natives do not hoard, they may keep for a time if it is personal, it seems to be built into our gene's that Creator gifted to us freely therefore we wish to gift freely,

If you do not what your gift given away by the receiver of that gift, better not to gift in the first place.
