Fossilized mastodon bones unearthed in Daytona Beach

Fossilized mastodon bones unearthed in Daytona Beach

.
As stated in many of my blogs and websites, it is believed that my people, the Mohegan/Pequot’s, followed the Woolley Mammoth (Mastodon) across the Bering striates from Asia.

This should be a fact proven over time so, knowing this why should it be a surprise finding Native Americans and Mastodons in Florida?

They were both still just following their food chain.

Although other finds in this pit are pieces of coral, whale teeth and a giant tortoise fossil, Florida is a peninsula and coral, fish and whale fossils should be found however, a tortoise and a mastodon ( a large elephant ) are land animals and came down from the main land as did the Native Americans.

American mastodons, a relative of the modern-day elephant, first appeared about 2 million years ago and became extinct about 10,000 years ago.
