Pope to visit the USA

Will Pope Francis still Canonize Spanish Priest Junipero Serra?

O.K.

It is now September 2015 and the air waves are all very hush, hush on if Pope Francis is still planning on Canonize this butcher, Spanish Priest Junipero Serra?

Spanish Priest Junipero Serra built missions in California on the backs of the native people as slaves!

Remember this if you will?

“There’s Nothing Saintly About the Atrocities”

And this?

"There's Nothing Saintly About the Atrocities": Native American Chief Blasts Decision to Canonize Junipero Serra

He will make the move in September, during a scheduled visit to the United States.

He is one of those pioneers studied in California history.

Father Junipero Serra founded nine missions, and now the pope wants to make the father a saint.

Kim Baldonado reports for the NBC4 News at 5 and 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.

If you think on this for awhile?

Maybe

Joachim Gauck President of Germany or Pope Francis should next go to Israel to Canonize Adolf Hitler, after all the Nazi German factory of Volkswagen was built on the backs of slave labor Jews before they gassed them and the world is still buying Volkswagens?

Spanish Priest Junipero Serra built those missions on the backs of Native American and Mexican Slave Labor and this country is still using them?

What is a Wannabe Indian Follower?

Welcome to my visitor from Uncasville Connecticut
Your confusing statement and an answer to your question.

(I need to keep writing both 'followers and friends' because I must remind myself of the many follower, over (500) that only they know why, just keep following? And the few friends that keep in touch or like the postings?)

As I just wrote to one of my long time friends, Follower/Friends Angie (Kentucky Angel).

I started back in the early 1980's writing in DOS trying to keep my elders and ancestors alive in the hearts and minds of the Mohiigan Family because we could see that we were losing touch and or passing on (Crossing Ceremony) far too fast.

I had an old 4 MB computer and writing on Netscape and EarthLink in dial up!

:-(

Years later with a new computer I was able to get a tracker to help find and answer questions from family and friends.

While checking the tracker I noticed that many others were asking the same question and many other questions?

So I started answering as best I could and that the time I even had elders to check with first.

I discovered that even though I had family and friends following the website, I also had over 3,000 un-known followers?

I also noticed that I recognized most of them as greedy, phony, "Non-Indians!"

We call (Wannabe Indians)!

Because of our many years out on the powwow trail I discovered that most of my followers were from different gatherings and powwows through-out Indian Country.

People that just sold junk, or store bought trinkets and clothing made outside of this country?

Back then no one would be allowed at a traditional native gathering selling non native material!

Today the non native material is the normal and native made is the rarely found idem!

To make matters worse, just about all of them were also 'selling' Naming, Weddings, Burial (as in Funeral) as so on, Ceremonies!

As my close followers know, selling a Sacred-Ceremony is against the teachings of our ancestors and frowned on by Kiehtan!

After also learning how to dump these Crooked Wannabes, thanks also to a long time followers, (Pacific Paratrooper).

I felt the need to write, where or when necessary, Friends/Followers?

So, I am able to keep my followers down to people that really wish to read and/or learn about our traditional tribe?

P.S.

Any tribal person in and around Connecticut should already have known this?

Christianity and Native Smudging

Welcome Trochu Alberta Canada
Christian/Smudging

Is smudging Christian

As my followers and friends know, I have answered this question a few times in the past.

However, because there is still so much confusion, faults teaching and wannabe Indians on the internet and in the news over the past years, I am willing to keep on repeating myself for better understanding by my followers, friends and the public so please understand?

I need to keep writing both 'followers and friends because I must remind myself of the many follow, for only they know why, just keep following and the few that ever keep in touch or like the postings?

A Native American Smudging in and around the New England area as I have learned by my ancestors teaching, is one of many ceremonies as a prayer to Grandfather Kiehtan (Creator).

Therefore by noticing many, not all, Christians ceremonies, each has its own way of Smudging (Praying).

So, it should never matter how you pray, only if you pray?

Because this question is from our good neighbors up north in Canada, I must also point out that many tribes in that country have their own Smudging Ceremony.

Yes, many of you know by my past postings some do not because, our ancestors never have and never will, worry about a

"Boundary-Line!"
Hope that this answers your question?

Native people Public Group

Native people Public Group

This site up showed on my Face Book today.

I really enjoy reading and the pictures.

Have not as yet joined?

Not so sure that I am worthy because as my friends on WordPress know, I am very opinionated at times and might take away from the great work that they are doing.

If I may I would like to say that I prey a special blessing from Creator to a member of this group.

And a Thank-you (Taw-but-ni) to Kathleen Johnson for a writing that I wish for all of my followers to read?

Native American Student Contradicts History Prof Who Denied Indian Genocide.

 And Is Bullied By Him!

Author: T. Steelman September 6, 2015 7:30 pm

U.S. History Professor Maury Wiseman teaches at Cal State Sacramento, where Chiitaanibah Johnson is taking his U.S. History class. Ms. Johnson is Native American, with Navajo and Maidu heritage. During a lecture last Wednesday, Prof. Wiseman told his class that he did not like to use the term, “genocide,” as he felt that did not describe what happened to Native Americans.

Ms. Johnson refuted that and was expelled from Wiseman’s class.

Johnson told the Indian Country Today Media Network:

“The whole thing started on Wednesday.

He was talking about Native America and he said the word genocide.

He paused and said ‘I don’t like to use that word because I think it is too strong for what happened’ and ‘Genocide implies that it was on purpose and most native people were wiped out by European diseases.’”

Ms. Johnson was, rightly, angered by this declaration but held her tongue.

She did her research, (including the fact that many of those European diseases were inflicted on purpose) gathered her evidence and, on Friday, presented it to Prof. Wiseman.

The discussion that day was about the Iroquois Confederacy and the Portuguese expeditions.

Johnson says that Prof. Wiseman made a point of saying that the indigenous tribes were not peaceful and were killing one another before Europeans arrived.

The Native (first people of this land) were, are and it looks as if will always be extirpated far more then my brothers and sisters of the Jewish faith, no disrespect intended to the Jewish decadents.

How could any university in the United States of America have hired such an ell advise entity and who are his ancestors one must wonder?
