AQUINE (Peace to you)
Welcome to the visitor to my teaching
blog posting looking for, can you eat kinnick, kinnick herb?
My answer is NO/YES
One should never eat things that you do
not know about however, if you are on a herb hunting trip with one of our clan
mothers, or if you receive a gift from one of our elders then yes, because most
of our Kinnick, Kinnick are herbs many people eat every day and this elder will
be glad to answer all of your questions.
WE are pleased to be able to teach as
much as possible about our traditional ancestors.
As you may or may not see while traveling
around the internet, some teaching about our people will not compute with what
the elders taught as the truth.
Many times often being taught by non
native people or someone not from our tribe!
Please remember that if you have
questions about our websites and blogs we can answer you at
sachemwalkingfox at gmail.com
Also please stop by for awhile at our
main blog posting.

Taw-but-ni (Thank-you) for your questions
Because tobacco seems to be one of the most asked
question I will write about this today.
Please understand that when talking about
Traditional Tobacco Gift,
I write only
as a traditionalist, so tobacco is Kinnick~Kinnick (Herbs), tobacco no one would ever enjoy
smoking.
Please also remember, there is nothing sacred about
any chemical, they are all poison so, what you would be saying if gifting
Cigarettes as tobacco to this person is, this is poison!
This tobacco that is used in our pipe ceremonies
and as a gift is called Kinnick, Kinnick.
At no time will a Traditional Native American
encourage smoking non native tobacco, poisoned by chemicals, we use organic
herbs only!
This herb can be found almost anywhere around your
area for free.
If it is native to your area, natives in your area
used it as their tobacco, Kinnick- Kinnick.
Sacred Kinnick~Kinnick should never be sold so make
sure that no one tells you that it has been blessed and then tries to sell it
to you, they are just trying to get more money out of you!
On Friday
February 4, 2011 on this blog I wrote "Tobacco should only be used
as a gift"
Eastern Woodland American Native Tobacco as a gift
offering to Creator in prayer.
How and when to present a gift of tobacco to a
Traditional American native? Any and every time that one wishes to speak with
an elder and/or honor an elder it should be by American native tobacco (Kinnick-Kinnick)
gift.
How much is enough tobacco to present as a gift?
How much is not as important as how one gives the
gift. First make sure that the tobacco is Eastern Woodland herb, Kinnick-Kinnick,
and then remind the receiver that this gift came from Mother Earth.
Because it did come from Mother Earth it would be
nice if it were wrapped in red, why red? Red represents women or Mother Earth.
What is American Native Kicnic-kicnic? Kinnick-Kinnick
is herbs collected from Mother Earth with prayer of thanks to Creator and
Mother Earth!
