First, a true traditional American Native Wedding should take as long as if not longer then a non native wedding because it takes as much as and sometime more than a non native planning.

We do believe that this time is extremely important to helping insure the longevity of this marriage.

Start out with prayer to Creator from the couple for guidance and blessings.

Speak with an elder and pray for a true spiritual leader in prayer to Creator.

Getting the message?

Never go into a ceremony without the blessing from Creator.

As you may or may not see while traveling around the internet, some teaching about our people will not correctly match up to what the elders taught as the truth.

Many times often being taught by non native people or someone not from our tribe!
