Coal mine on reservation's
"If there's a coal mine on a reservation, let's use it."
We should never under-estimate the intelligence or lack thereof, of our 'professional congressional politicians'?

Oil, Gas and Coal my Democratic Senator are just another type of Smallpox Blankets/Hysterectomy!

Wind and Solar are clean, clear, free and jobs for our people!

I am almost sure that Senator Al Franken is meaning well in his statement about the poor native people on government run reservations, or maybe not?

Democrats On Indian Affairs Committee Support Fast-tracking Tribal Energy Development

In what's become a rare occurrence in Washington, there was bipartisan agreement in a Senate hearing Wednesday that Native American tribes should have more leeway to develop energy resources on their land.

“Global warming is a real problem, but if they find a coal mine on a reservation, let’s use it," Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) said.

"If there's a coal mine on a reservation, let's use it."

It would seem to "Native Eyes and Ears," that the people on the Indian Affairs Committee have not been to visit native villages, reservations or 'nations' as we have been calling them lately. And/or have not been a student of the history of this country?

I am not talking about "Smallpox Blankets or Hysterectomies and such,"

Yes, of course this all happened!

I am talking about the land the our people were herded onto!

The "Reservations" themselves!

Every native reservation (prison if you will), is a place that the invading government had no or very little use for.

Therefore a great place to put all of those 'Pesky Indians'?

Now we find, if we bothered to look?

Reservations, for the most part, are a great place to set up and run Wind-Generators and Solar-Panels.

Wind and Solar are clean, clear, free and jobs for our people!

 P.S.

If there’s 100 steps and 7 agencies that they need to go through to jobs and better living conditions, why is it being called "A Nation?"

WELL DUH!
