Best Dinner Date Ever
While police
officers are often forced to contend with people at their worst, Sergeant
Steven Dearth saw humanity at its best one March evening.
He became friends
with a four-year-old Massachusetts girl, who noticed him eating dinner by
himself at Panera Bread.
Perhaps not wanting
the officer to eat alone, or perhaps sensing that he might need a new friend,
Lillian Israel decided to sit with him during his dinner break.
