'Native Americans teachings of my grandmother.'

Welcome to the visitor from the City of San Luis Obispo California

Looking for information about

'Native Americans teachings of my grandmother.'

Reminding you as I always try to do, that you and your questions are on the west coast of Indian country.

My people are on the east coast of Indian country?

With this in mind, I will be pleased to answer your question with my knowledge of our culture an ceremonies as long as you understand that the distance between us could very well mean a difference in culture and ceremonies, as in the use of the word Grandmother?

Whenever you hear the word Grandmother spoken or written by a true traditional native American around the New York/New England area, it is spoken/written in reference to a female elder that has acquired the knowledge of the ancestors, culture and ceremonies of her tribe.

Usually this would also mean that she is also a Clan Mother, she might even be the Head Clan Mother.

She is now a member in good standing of the royal family.

Remember that this is not just speaking about age of this person.

Simple Native American Naming Ceremony?

Welcome to the visitor from the City of Dublin  in Ireland

Looking for information as to how to perform simple native American Naming Ceremony

SORRY!

There is no such thing as a simple ceremony in my tribe.

All of our ceremonies are about culture from the ancestors who never look a short cut so neither should we?

Because you from the land of some of our ancestors and because I enjoy teaching, as long as it does not go into sacred rights, I will explain about a little of the how and why?

Naming start with someone contacting a qualified elder with the respect taught by the tribe for help contacting Creator with the request.

The name is always given in a special circle with the four sacred corners for help with the  blessings from Creator.

Real herbs blessed and sold by native American Indians

Buying/Selling Sacred Blessed Herbs

Mr. Nice Guy has left the building temporarily!

;-)

Someone looking to buy Blessed Herbs is almost as hilarious as someone claiming to be a Shamanic Native American willing to sell Blessed Herbs?

I had a visitor on my tracker looking to buy blessed herbs and as usual I looked over most of the websites willing to relieve this person of money.

I cannot blame someone without knowledge confused about our ways, or even if this person is a little lazy.

However, I do have the right to call our phony people just out to make a buck at this persons lack of understanding!

Real herbs blessed and sold by native American Indians

Welcome to the person from the City of Blairstown New Jersey looking to buy Blessed Herbs.

I am sorry to inform you that it is impossible to buy our truly Sacred Blessed Herb?

You see, nothing is ever blessed until Creator (your God) if you are not native and I am guessing that you are not does the blessing?

You do however have three choices.

You can find a true traditional Native American Spiritual Elder and together you can ask for Creators blessing and why you may need it.
Good luck.

You can just take a walk around your home picking up herb plants, go home get down on your knees and ask Creator to bless your herbs.

You can go to any store buy a hand full of herbs then go home get down on your knees and ask Creator to bless your store bought herbs.

The one and two ways are always free.

The third one cost you the store bought herbs.

If however, you are about to buy herbs from anyone that tells you that they are blessed herbs, I must now warn you

(DON'T)

Walk away because you are about to be duped!

When Connecticut was (Quinatucquet)

Connecticut's First Peoples

When Connecticut was Quinnetukut (Quinatucquet)

While we read this article and we should if we wish to learn more about my people.

Always remember that anything written after a casino, might be a little slanted.

Also check on how many writers are actually Connecticut natives or native at all?

As with a few past writings, I like this information.

It is understandably light on our past homeland, light on how we got to the land , has a different spelling then the name I learned from my Grandfather and the elders and is a plug towards selling tickets to the museum.

All of that aside not bad reading?

If I ever go back to the land, I would go for a visit.

We also know that it takes a lot of time and money to gather all of this information clean and preserve it to show at live museums so who are the sponsors?
