Looking for information about our belief in Spiritualism.

Native American Spiritualism

I have included a site about Shinto, I am not an expert in this, while looking for some information a was intrigued with so much similarities between beliefs?

Japan Spiritualism

The Way of the Gods

Ancient Japanese elevated this fascination with nature into what was later called Shinto, the Way of the Gods. This belief system that imbued every mountain, every stream, and even impressive trees with a spirit. These deities, known as kami, were considered cheerful and friendly to humans. If kept satisfied, they would watch over human affairs and refrain from causing natural disasters.

The name Kami is close to Kiehtan, we also believe the Kiehtan, although one supreme being is in everything Mother Nature (Shinto).

If humans keep abusing Mother Earth she often retaliates with earthquakes, hurricanes, Typhoons, tornados and so forth. However, Kiehtan (Kami) cares very much for creation?

Kenya and the Circle of Life

Welcome to the City of Nairobi, Nairobi Kenya

To one of my postings about the Circle of Life at

You may find even more information about this our beliefs at

Native American symbol for Sacred Circle of Life

I can only speak as a traditionalist elder and from teaching from my elders from the New England area.

Our circle of life started long ago while (Creator) and (Father Sky) were on one of their walks around, what we now call the universe, which was already a circle of life in of its self.

Why is Grand Entry Sacred?

Welcome to the visitor from the City of Winston Salem North Carolina

Glad to have this question once again although this is the first in such a long time at calling it Sacred?

Makes one wonder just who is asking and why?

You see Grand Entry or (Cangi Sidiai Niungo) as it was called at a Paw paus and a powwow up until the early 1960's, was and should always be Sacred however, I have not heard it called Cangi Sidiai Niungo since returning from Vietnam in 1965.

It would seem that after the government made Casino Indians, nothing about the new gatherings is sacred?

One exception, because there is always an exception.

Many years ago while we were still called "The Book People,"

Donna teaches our culture using books and she is very good at it.

I teach in the circle and around the grounds.

At a gathering one year, the head veteran (Auburn University powwow) came asking to use my Pow-Mia Flag, I do not remember why?

After an agreement, because of the Bird of Prey Feathers plus some Sacred Pouches from past Crossing ceremonies, we walked it into the east and placed over the drum.

About an hour he came back with another Red Pouch and I said a fast prayer hoping that it was not for Grandfathers Staff!

He came asking if or when the drum could continue a dance because the flag was in the circle?

Point to this posting is.

He came to ask and not just move on with the gathering.

I'll tell you what I explained to him however, I believe that he was just being polite!

Once the flag and/or staff is placed, the gathering can continue.

I am not using a name because, this person is a veteran and a true traditionalist and I would never embarrass him however, this information was important for me to tell.

Native American involvement in crm in the four corners

or

Welcome to the visitor from the City of Missoula Montana

Looking for information about

Native American involvement in Cultural Resource Management in the four corners?

Not sure if you found what you were looking for however, you ended up on these postings for an answer?

THE FOUR SACRED CORNERS. (Shehukte Kina Konacya).

So, let's see if we can help?

Again, I must start out with the, you are in Montana we are over on the east coast, so some of our culture may differ from native culture in your state.

I am sure that many answers from this government only refers to their opinion of reservation Indian's?

We in the east refer to all indigenous peoples in our culture.

Our Four Sacred Corners is referring to four Clan Mothers well trained in the culture for many of our ceremonies, including archaeology, land/or historical sites?

Yes, we do have a Sacred Ceremony just for these and many more reasons.

Welcome to the City of Son Akershus Norway looking for information about the 'Circle of life'

To my old tripod website

Because tripod changed/sold the good website and opened something else I, along with millions of others, no longer have control of the oldest site.

In the mean time a few helping hints might help in your search?

As stated on this old website, we believe that the circle is the oldest symbol of the world. The circle is a reminder of our connections to Mother Earth.

The sun, mood and planets travel in circles.

The circle is the symbol of the heartbeat of all people.

Because of this and a notice that life itself is a circle, dead, to living, back to death.

All of our ceremonies start with the acknowledgement of, the four seasons, summer, fall, winter, spring and so on.

However, you may wish to try a few of our other better sites/blogs?
