I know what is wrong with our society today

I know what is wrong with our society today
I know this because I have a teacher in the home.

Plus
I can see school systems in the media (Florida),
only allowing teachers to teach,
how to pass tests!

I have a teacher in the house that could not take the
Day after day after day
and
only allowed teaching her students, how to pass
Test, after test, after tests!

When these students grow to adulthood, the only thing that they will be qualified to do is,

pass test after test after test.

They end up stealing guns and robbing people.
 
On our Florida news channels today
Crime is down in Florida
except for
 Murders,
Rape
and
Car thefts?
WHAT?

OR
As with our president to be,
Tweet after tweet after tweet!

As you must know by now, our,
soon to be president
must Tweet.

Because he needs the people around him,
to proof read
and
spell-check his work.
Watch the next time he looks at the teleprompter while faking a speech to the cameras.

SMUDGING/FIREKEEPES

Welcome and thank-you Ann Arbor, Michigan

For asking about two very important ceremonies in the culture of the Moiigan, people.

Smudging is always an important part of the lives of the Native American people throughout Indian Country.
Because it is our way for speaking with Creator.
A fire keeper is a tribal way of maintaining the fire in a gathering, if you have a fire in your gathering.

As stated many time in past posting and websites, I have been blessed to have been able to visit many gatherings around Indian Country.

I noted that some tribes place the fire in the middle of their circle.
some do not have a fire.

and

Some place the fire outside of the circle.

Outside of the circle in the west, in the gathering of the people throughout the

New England Area.
Is
or should I say,
was the preferred ceremony of our ancestors.

Smudging is one of the top five questions that come to our blogs and websites.

So, as you have just learned.

Smudging is our way of speaking with Kiehtan our Creator.

While smudging please keep this in mind.

How can a 'Bad Spirit,' be anywhere around while you are smudging?
A 'Fire Keeper' after a visit to the west

Chicago Gate keeper

I need to write about this again because
It is always important to remind people
That I write about and from the teaching of our ancestors.

There are still over a thousand tribes, no matter the name they use or if they are recognized or not recognized by this government.

And

many have their own culture with their own ceremonies.

And

Some might even use the words

Every year and sometimes more often we get this question.

I could, as so many others apparently have, just let it slide, after all what is the big deal anyhow.

Well, for starters, it is wrong while speaking about my people.

I would have

"We the People!"

As you might have guessed,

She and I cannot and will not, use them.

However, as always, she has class, honor and too much love for you and her country.

This country deserves what it is going to get for the next eight years!
