Were in the Quran does it say that Allah wants you to kill?

Why do some claim that
the Quran includes some verses
calling for killing the non-believers?
I believe it is safe to say that
Muslims believe that the Quran,
as do the Jew and Christians
believe about the Bible,
is the word of their God (Allah)?
I also have discovered
that each of the three books
preach love
and
peace
unless under attack!
It has also been pointed out that the
"confusing saying being bounced around the internet
about killing non believers"
was stated in the Quran by the Prophet
Abū al-Qāsim Muammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim
and only after a dispute with a treaty and should be looked at as, only if under an attack!
"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors. And slay them wherever you catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter... But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful... If they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression" (2:190-193).
It is clear from the context that these verses are discussing a defensive war, when a Muslim community is attacked without reason, oppressed and prevented from practicing their faith. In these circumstances, permission is given to fight back -- but even then Muslims are instructed not to transgress limits, and to cease fighting as soon as the attacker gives up. Even in these circumstances, Muslim are only to fight directly against those who are attacking them, not innocent bystanders or non combatants.
Quran says (surah 9:4 to 7):
Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (4) And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (5) And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know. (6) How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (7)
So, if you are a Muslim, Jew or Christian bent on killing anyone that disagrees with you.

You are speaking and doing against the words of your GOD!

Traditional Native American Spiritual Leader

Mitt Romney is a very religious man
If this is true then he will know this piece of scripture
John 8:7
Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone
As a Traditional Native American Spiritual Leader, I have been trying to help Religious leaders understand why they cannot reach our people while using their bibles!
Take a closer look at this year's political campaigning then open your bibles and show me your truth?
For those of you that do not believe in the bible.
Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and Connie Mack, "People that live in glass houses should never throw stones"
Romney seeks to undercut Obama’s likability lead
The president’s re-election effort, Romney said Wednesday, “is all about division and attack and hatred.” Obama, Romney added later while campaigning in Charlotte, is an angry man who “will do or say anything to get elected.”
While some GOP strategists question whether Romney’s tactic will work, they agree that he is vulnerable among voters who find Obama more personally appealing. Romney and his allies appear bent on persuading voters that Obama is not what he seems.
Appearing Wednesday on CBS, Romney said the Obama campaign is “designed to bring a sense of enmity and jealousy and anger.”

Pequins (Pequot)/ Mohiingan (Mohegan) prayers at our ceremonies

Many people are now coming to our websites and bloggers
looking for information on how to pray
the Traditional American Native way.
Our Creator (you call by many names).
To Creator, a name is not important,
talking to Creator is extremely important!
In spite of the fact that we do not write down sacred ceremonies,
you should not be upset?
We call Creator, Grandfather or Grandmother
because Creator, although not be to lowered to a human status,
is like your grandmother or grandfather and much more,
do not get hung up on reciting prayers that you heard or have seen written down someplace.
Remember;
If you are praying to, screaming at, or with Creator,
you are doing what most people stopped doing
(You are admitting the existence of your Creator)
Remember Creator loves you and so do we!
Bottom-line;
while speaking with your Creator, Creator already knows why you (rang the bell), so speak as if you knew this and enjoy the visit?

When does a Native American become an Elder?

Welcome
Schenectady New York
To the blogger posting looking for information about
Native American who is a elder to them
Grandfather/Grandmother Native American Mohegan Elders
Once again I remind you that this is a blogger about Eastern Woodland American Natives along the eastern coast of Indian Country!
A Native American person can live until passing and never become an elder, unless that person studies the culture, learns the ceremonies and has the respect of his or her people!
Once this becomes apparent and that person reaches the young age of 70, the people show their respect by calling that person Grandfather/Grandmother.
What greater feeling for a person to be called Grandfather or Grandmother because after all most traditional American Natives call Creator Grandfather, not that we become Creator, it is only a show of respect!

Bright Star or Alice Bright Star

There seems to be some confusion on the Internet

Alice Storey (AKA) Bright Star Pequins (Pequot)/ Mohiingan (Mohegan) born June 16th 1860
To William Thomas Storey 1837 to 1919 ( Irish/Pequin (Pequot)
&
Mary Tracy Fielding Storey 1840 to 1919 Pequins (Pequot)/ Mohiingan (Mohegan)

Algonquin Speaking people of the Eastern Woodland America Native Area.

Mary and Alice always wore Seven Eagle Feathers, the sign of matriarch family royalty.

We are the last of the royal family!

We are of a Matriarch Society

We are the Storey Clan, descendants of the Mohiingan (Mohegan's) an Algonquin Speaking American Native people of Turtle Island and Unkas (Uncas), the first Sachem of the Mohiingan (Mohegan's).

Sachem Uncas changed the name from Pequot back to the original name Mohiingan and the Early European settlers again misspelled it to become Mohegan.

The Algonquin speaking people were the largest group of American Native or indigenous peoples along the Eastern coast of what is today known as the United States.

We are also descendents of Samson Occum, an American native Preacher and an ancestor of both Mary Tracy Fielding Storey and Bright Star, Alice Storey. "

This is a different tribe.

Wahtawaso, (AKA Bright Star) the daughter of Joseph Nicolar - Penobscot - 1884

Note: The Penobscot (Panawahpskek) are a sovereign people indigenous to what is now Maritime Canada and the northeastern United States, particularly Maine.

They were (and are) significant participants in the historical and present Wabanaki Confederacy, along with the Abenaki, Passamaquoddy, Maliseet, and Mi'kmaq nations.
