Americans critical of Thomas Jefferson

The following posting is about First Prime Minister of independent India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.
However the information about our past president is what I want to write about.
Nehru: The casualty of India’s first historical revision
Among its founding fathers, Americans have been particularly critical of Thomas Jefferson in the later part of 20th century. A defendant of slavery who advocated harsh treatment for Native Americans and invited the crisis of nullification, historians like David Malone have been critical of his ideas and actions. In fact what Jefferson has faced is the phenomenon of historical revision, which is not limited within the national borders.

A little history might help you to understand our feelings a little better?
For thousands of years before first contact the people, birds and animals would move around the New England area following their food source according to the four seasons.
After each cycle they would always return to their home in each area of this season.
Only when the people came back, it was first come first occupied so, when the original occupant returned, both family's would work together making sure each had a place to call home!
Not so with the new arrivals to our country!
This new group of people took the land and have NEVER given it back or helped our people in finding a replacement.

This is wrong, very wrong!

The biggest reason why so many of 'Americas first people' are no longer recognized by today's ' American European governments second people' is the fault of the first few president of this country!
I am talking about we the people up and down the east coast in this our country!
Their lack of understanding, non interest in understanding, their interest in slavery and their action at attempts to annulations of our people, made it easier for this modern form of government using blinders while talking about the native Americans in this, our country!
We do not need a casino, most traditional do not want one, many need our help, all want to become recognized as who they really are, your "First American People"

First Prime Minister of independent India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Many of us today look upon the partition as much the failure of Nehru as it was of Mahatma. For decades debate revolved around their perceived failure to out-maneuver Jinnah in the 1940s.

George Armstrong Custer did not become a foolish general

GOP leader in trouble after blasting New Mexico governor for dishonoring General Custer by meeting with Native-Americans.
RNC leader Pat Rogers sent the email to Governor Susana Martinez's staff on June 8
General George Armstrong Custer is notorious for his role in the bloody 18th century Indian Wars.
A liberal activism group is calling for Rogers to resign over his comments
Rogers is in Florida preparing for the Republican National Convention

As a leader looking over at the enormous size of your "so called enemy" would you grab your sword and order your much smaller group to follow you into a battle when everyone knew the outcome from the beginning?
Or would you have waited for your on coming reinforcements?

George Armstrong Custer did not become a cruel, vicious, opinionated, stupid, foolish general during the Indian Wars of the 1860s-1870s.
He was cruel, vicious, opinionated, stupid and foolish as Civil War General George Armstrong Custer during the Civil war, so get over it!

Republican National Committee leader Pat Rogers has found himself in hot water after sending an email lambasting New Mexico Government Susana Martinez for dishonoring the memory of infamous Civil War General George Armstrong Custer by meeting with Native-Americans.
Custer is notorious for taking part in the muddled Indian Wars of the 1860s-1870s that took the lives of scores of members of the Cheyenne, Lakota and other tribes. He was killed at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876.
‘The state is going to hell,’ Rogers, a GOP lobbyist and recent member of the RNC Executive Committee, wrote in a June 8 email to Martinez's staff.

In hot water: Activists are calling on RNC leader Pat Rogers to step down following the release of an email he sent making incendiary comments about American Indians

The email was sent to senior members of Martinez’s administration after the governor met with New Mexico’s Native-Americans in June.
Martinez, who is widely considered to be the rising star in the GOP, is required by law to attend the annual state-tribal leaders summit, according to Progress Now New Mexico.
Governor Susana Martinez's

‘Col. [Allen] Weh would not have dishonored Col. Custer in this manner,’ he went on to say, referring to the Republican candidate for governor who was defeated by Martinez in the 2010 election.
The email was obtained by Independent Source PAC and released by ProgressNow New Mexico, a liberal advocacy organization, which has called on Rogers to step down over his incendiary comments, Indian Country Today reported.
‘Such a blatantly racist statement against our native people is offensive from anyone, but to come from a national GOP leader and lobbyist for some of our country’s largest corporations is indefensible,’ Progress Now New Mexico’s executive director Pat Davis said in a statement.

Hispanic Power

As a Traditional Native American I know just how it feels not being represented well enough in the political arena!
That said my brother and sister Native American, Hispanic/Latino American voters,
I only ask that you carefully choose the correct person whom you are backing in your future!
One of the political parties is trying to push their well groomed candidate on us all however, when making this extremely important decision we must check their past very carefully!
As a Indigenous race of people, our religion, family life and relationship to our past means everything to us, so why would we be voting for a person with such a long history of abuse to women?
Not necessarily physically but mentally and morally!
Would your elders and ancestors be proud of voting for a person with a long shady political past?
The following is my short list of our indigenous people now in the political arena just to give you an idea of a much better choice for your first president!
Latino Leaders:
The National Magazine of the Successful American Latino
The 42 most influential Latino politicians
Hispanic Power
Many of us that the Europeans call "indigenous people" are of a Matriarch society
(love and respect of our women).

This category is about individuals and topics related to Hispanic and Latino American women in politics.

Thank-you for reading and understanding of this posting.
It is impossible to correctly list American Natives in the political arena because this government refuses to recognize well over half of our people (somehow we do not seem to have enough blood)?

How Native American youth avoid drugs and alcohol

Adherence to Native American traditions help Native American youth avoid drugs and alcohol
WELL YUH!
Native Americans do not separate spirituality from other areas of their life, making it more complex, both socially and culturally, because it is intertwine with their daily existence.
Hold on a minute there Kulis, you are not correct in your following statement!
“Most American Indians now live in cities rather than tribal communities.
Our study is one of the few to address the role of spirituality and religion among urban Native youth, recognizing the unique histories of cultural integration that characterize today’s urban American Indian communities and the complex belief systems and practices that sustain them in the urban landscape,” Kulis said.
We in the east, the Traditional American Natives in the New England area have known this for hundreds Ya, thousands of years and have been preaching this for that long!
Native American youths, in urban areas, who follow traditional Native American spiritual beliefs are less likely to abuse drugs and alcohol.
The American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse with an article called “Spirituality and Religion: Intertwined Protective Factors for Substance Use Among Urban American Indian Youth”.

If you check records you will find out that the so called " unrecognized tribes" throughout the New York, New Jersey and New England area teach their young our culture and ceremonies and that our young are not drug or alcohol abusers, at least not the ones brought up in our Traditional Matriarch Society, as far back as you can while trace our Sachems!

Florida Indians beat Florida China!

Who said that the Chinese cannot be beat at their own game?
Talking about the country of India and the country of China!
Orlando restaurant to be temporarily shut down due to violations
Why is this restaurant only temporarily shut down?
Orlando restaurant will be forced to temporarily shut its doors after state inspectors found the restaurant dangerously violating state code.
